SUOI TIEN THEME PARK- A 30-YEAR JOURNEY OF GROWTH

Over more than three decades of formation and growth, Suoi Tien Theme Park has become one of Ho Chi Minh City’s most renowned locations, combining culture, history, and entertainment to encapsulate the spirit of Vietnam.

From a once-barren terrain of only 6,600 square meters, where a calm brook known as Suoi Tien flowed, the region has turned into a world-class amusement park spanning 55 hectares with over 150 attractions. Suoi Tien’s narrative is about vision, determination, and unbounded ambition.

At the center of this metamorphosis is Labor Hero Dinh Van Vui, a native of Soc Trang Province whose pioneering vision brought life to this once-desolate country, transforming it into a cultural paradise based on the ideology of “Returning to the Origins of Vietnamese Heritage.”

Founded in 1987 as the Suoi Tien Forest Camp, the park formally opened to visitors on September 2, 1995, marking a watershed moment in Vietnam’s tourism history. The 400-meter Dragon Monument, a symbol of the nation’s “Rise of the Dragon” era, ushered in the tale of the Four Sacred Creatures: Dragon, Qilin, Turtle and Phoenix. Suoi Tien is now more than just a theme park; it is a cultural landmark that honors the heritage of the “Children of the Dragon and Fairy”, encouraging patriotism and national identification in all visitors.

Suoi Tien has received international attention, including:

Cultural festivals such as the Southern Fruit Festival and the Suoi Tien Farm Festival have also become major highlights, receiving widespread coverage in both domestic and foreign media.

Moving toward the 2024–2030 vision, Suoi Tien aims to become a world-class entertainment and tourism complex, evolving under an integrated model of Entertainment – Cuisine & Shopping – Resort, alongside a strong commitment to digital transformation and sustainable green tourism.
