HUNG KINGS’ COMMEMORATION DAY 2025 AT SUOI TIEN THEME PARK

To celebrate the Hung Kings’ Commemoration Day in 2025, Suoi Tien Theme Park hosted a series of special activities from April 5th to April 7th, 2025 (which falls on the 10th day of the 3rd lunar month).

Every year on the 10th day of the 3rd lunar month, Vietnamese come together to honor the Hung Kings — the legendary founders who laid the foundation of the Lac Viet civilization. This year, Suoi Tien Theme Park remains a must-visit destination, offering a series of cultural and spiritual events during the Hung Kings’ Commemoration Day 2025, taking place from April 5th to 7th (the 8th to 10th day of the 3rd lunar month).

Hung Kings’ Commemoration Day 2025 at Suoi Tien: Returning to our roots, preserving the soul of the nation

Also this morning, thousands of eager footsteps made their way to the Hung Kings’ Temple at Suoi Tien Theme Park. There, the incense offering ceremony was held with deep reverence. Amid the gentle swirl of incense smoke, each stick was offered with genuine gratitude and pride.

A special and moving highlight of this year’s incense offering ceremony is the presentation of 630 lotus flowers by 630 young people dressed in traditional Vietnamese clothing.

The 630 lotus flowers represent the 63 provinces and cities of Vietnam, as well as the 63 ethnic groups who share the same roots. Each flower is a symbol of unity, a reminder that no matter our region, language, or background, we all come from the same origin – and we all look to our ancestors with respect and gratitude.

One highlight you shouldn’t miss is the special stage performance bringing the legend of Lac Long Quan and Au Co to life. Featuring singer-songwriter Phan Dinh Tung and the Diva dance group, the show offers a powerful and visually stunning tribute to Vietnam’s origins.

The stage also featured a rich lineup of cultural performances, from traditional dances and folk music to vibrant modern showcases—each celebrating the beauty and spirit of Vietnamese heritage.

As part of the festival, Suoi Tien Theme Park is partnering for the first time with the Youth Union of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (VNU-HCM) and the “Toc Xanh Vat Ao” team to host the Vietnamese Attire Day – “Toc Xanh Vat Ao – The Future train.” The event brings together 600 young people and many visitors for an impressive group performance in traditional Vietnamese clothing.

It’s a meaningful way to honor the beauty of traditional dress and for the younger generation to show pride in their cultural roots.

An inspiring aspect of this year’s Hung Kings’ Commemoration Festival at Suoi Tien was the participation of international visitors who joined in the celebrations with genuine interest and respect.

Many tourists from around the world came to Suoi Tien not only to enjoy the vibrant cultural performances and traditional ceremonies but also to deepen their understanding of Vietnam’s rich history and heritage.

Suoi Tien gifts 15,000 Hung Kings’ blessings to visitors

As part of the Hung Kings’ Commemoration Day 2025, Suoi Tien Theme Park is honored to give away 15,000 Hung Kings’ blessings to 15,000 visitors. Each blessing includes a portion of ST25 rice – a variety that once won the title of “the world’s best rice,” representing the finest of Vietnamese agriculture.

More than just a meaningful gift, the Hung Kings’ blessing is a symbol of warmth and prosperity, a wish from our roots to every home. The pure white grains, with their gentle scent of the countryside, carry the pride of our nation and remind us of the efforts of our ancestors in building and protecting the country.

With the theme “Lotus Blooming – Vietnam Rising,” this year’s festival is not only a chance to honor tradition but also a journey to connect heritage and share the values of our culture.
