If you’re planning to visit Suối Tiên while staying in Ho Chi Minh City, you’re in luck — getting there is reasonably straightforward, and there are a few transport options to suit different budgets and comfort levels. Below is a friendly guide aimed especially at international visitors.

Where is Suoi Tien

Suoi Tien Theme Park is located at 120 Hanoi Highway, Tang Nhon Phu Ward, (formerly District 9), Ho Chi Minh City. Established in 1995, the park has grown over three decades to cover 105 hectares, becoming one of the most iconic cultural and entertainment destinations in southern Vietnam.

Suoi Tien offers a unique blend of Vietnamese legend, spirituality, nature and enjoyment. The park blends cultural and historical themes with thrilling attractions and lush green spaces, creating an ideal balance of heritage and modern leisure.

Must-see attractions inside Suoi Tien:

  • Tiên Đồng – Ngọc Nữ Beach: A massive artificial beach featuring over 30 water games, giant wave pools, and exciting water slides for endless fun.
  • Crocodile Kingdom: Home to more than 25,000 crocodiles, where visitors can even try fishing for giant crocodiles weighing up to 500 kg.
  • Thrill Zone: With 90+ modern rides like the Sky Bounder roller-coaster and off-road cars — a paradise for adventure seekers.
  • Suoi Tien Farm: A green haven filled with fresh fruit grown from imported varieties, where visitors can taste and pick fruits right at the garden. Famous varieties include Shine Muscat grapes, Golden Star apples, Tam Hoa plums, and Black Sapote.

Suoi Tien is not just a theme park — it’s a cultural wonderland where myths, history, and modern entertainment come alive.

Traveling by Taxi or using Ride-Hailing Apps (Grab, Xanh SM, Be,…)

This is the most convenient and fastest way to reach Suoi Tien without having to wait. It’s ideal if you’re traveling with children or carrying a lot of luggage.

From District 1 city center, it takes about 30–35 minutes to reach the entrance of Suoi Tien under normal traffic conditions. During rush hours or weekends, the trip may take a bit longer due to traffic congestion on Hanoi Highway.

The fare will depend on the time and distance, but generally, it’s more expensive than traveling by bus or metro.

Travel tips:

  • Use popular apps like Grab, Xanh SM, Be and enter your destination as “Suoi Tien Theme Park” so the driver can easily recognize it.
  • If you’re traveling at noon or on weekends, start a bit earlier to avoid traffic jams.
  • The park has several entrances, so let the driver know if you want to stop at the Main Gate or at the Tien Dong – Ngoc Nu Beach Gate for swimming.
  • If you prefer not to use a ride-hailing app, you can call Vinasun Taxi directly at (028) 38 27 27 27.

This is a perfect choice if you want a comfortable, private, and time-saving trip for a full day of fun at Suoi Tien.

Traveling by Metro Line No. 1 (Ben Thanh – Suoi Tien)

Metro Line No. 1 is now operational and has become the most modern, fast, and convenient way to reach Suoi Tien. This line connects Ben Thanh Station in District 1 with Vietnam National University Station (Station No. 13), which is located right next to the Suoi Tien Theme Park.

The line is about 20 km long with 14 stations, and the travel time from the city center to Suoi Tien is expected to be only 25 – 30 minutes – much faster than taking a taxi or bus during rush hours.

Advantages:

  • No traffic jams, stable travel, and air-conditioned comfort.
  • The Vietnam National University Station is located right at the park entrance, making it extremely convenient.
